It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death, yesterday, Sunday 13th June 2021, of ex PC 531 Jack NORRIS, 93 years, at Whittington Care Home, Chesterfield. His next of kin is his son, Stephen Norris. Jack suffered with Dementia.
Jack retired in 1982 whilst working as the Collator at Chesterfield PS. He had previously served at Matlock, Swadlincote and Chesterfield. His funeral has been arranged for 12.30pm on Tuesday 22nd June 2021 for interment and graveside service at Beighton Cemetery, Sheffield S20. Sean Murphy (Secretary)

It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the sudden death at home, on Sunday 6th June 2021, of ex Sgt 651 Philip Ian CROOK, 75 years. His next of kin is his wife Mrs Jenny Crook.
Phil, as he was known, retired in 1993 whilst a Patrol Sergeant in Chesterfield. He served in Matlock, Swadlincote, Renishaw and Chesterfield mainly in CID. He was seconded to the Regional Crime Squad and on return was the Intelligence Officer. His son David is a retired Derbyshire Police Officer and his grandson is a serving Police Officer with South Yorkshire. His funeral has been arranged for 2.30pm on Thursday 24th June 2021 at Chesterfield Crematorium, Chesterfield Road, Brimington, Chesterfield S43 1AU. Covid restrictions will apply to the Service, however mourners are able to line the route at the Crematorium. His next of kin is his wife Gill Ford. John and Jill lived in Tenerife for many years since retiring in about 1999. John served the majority of his service in B Division. His funeral is due to take place tomorrow, Tuesday, 8th June, 2021.
Sean Murphy (Secretary) It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death yesterday, Wednesday 2nd June 2021, of Mrs Eileen HILL, 95 years. Eileen was the widow of Sgt Kenneth Hill. Her next of kin is her daughter Mrs Fran Meakin.
