It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the peaceful death on the 7th June 2023 of Mrs Stephanie EGAN, 88 years. Stephanie was the widow of Sgt Tony Egan, who passed away in 2010.
Her next of kin is her daughter Mrs Diane Herbert. Her Funeral has been arranged for Wednesday 5th July 2023, with a family committal at Macclesfield Crematorium followed by a Thanksgiving Service at Christ Church,125 St.John’s Road, Burbage, Buxton SK17 9AA at 12.00 noon. Sean Murphy (Secretary)

It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death on the 21st June 2023 of Mrs Margaret NEVILLE, 80 yrs. Margaret had not had good health for a few years. She is the wife of ex PC 877 Anthony (Tony) Neville.
Her funeral has been arranged for 1.00pm on Tuesday, 18th July 2023 at Amber Valley Memorial Park and Crematorium, Derby Road, Swanwick DE55 1BH. Sean Murphy (Secretary) It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death on the 11th May 2023, in Hospital 4 weeks after being diagnosed with Cancer, of ex PC 546 Duncan ROBERTSON, 81 years. His next of kin is his wife, Mrs Mavis Robertson.
Duncan, joined Derbyshire Police Force in 1968, working in - Chesterfield, Bolsover, Renishaw, Shirebrook & Staveley. He was incredibly proud of what did – Worked hard to provide for his family. Leaving the force in 1979 – Duncan & Mavis went on to become Steward & Stewardess at the North Star Club, Bolsover. Comment from son Steve Roberts: That was through the tough times of the 80’s and the miners’ strike, being an ex-Miner, an ex-Police Officer and then a Landlord – Duncan could see it from every angle. He was respected by many, for the way he dealt with all. His funeral took place at 2.30pm on Friday 26th May 2023 at Chesterfield Crematorium. Sean Murphy (Secretary)  It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death from Cancer, in hospital following an operation and a 5 week stay, on Friday 9th June 2023 of ex Insp 952 Antony (Tony) Charles EYRE, 67 years. His next of kin is his wife, Mrs Veronica Eyre.
Tony retired in 2006 after serving mainly in the Buxton area and heading up the Community Safety section at Darley Dale and Ripley. His funeral has been arranged for 1.30pm on Tuesday 4th July 2023, in the Cypress Chapel, Stockport Crematorium, Buxton Road, Heaviley, Stockport, Cheshire SK2 6LS Sean Murphy (Secretary) It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death, peacefully at home, on the 30th May 2023 of Mrs Linda Ann BATTERHAM, 79 years. She was the widow of PC 184 Don Batterham. Her next of kin is her son, Mr Andy Batterham.
