It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death, after a short illness, on Saturday 5th February 2022, of Mrs Madelene Theresa DAWES, 78 years, wife of ex PC 661 Jeffrey Dawes.

It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death on Friday 11th February 2022, in Ravensworth Care Home, where he had been living with Dementia of ex D/Sgt 136 Alan Arthur Parkin, 75 years. His next of kin is his wife, Mrs Christine Parkin.
Alan retired from the Police on ill health in about 1986? Having served in Derby, Chesterfield and Dronfield and as D/Sgt on Regional Crime Squad and Drug Squad. He then worked as an Operator on the CCTV cameras for Chesterfield Borough Council. He has been living with Dementia for 6 years and for the past 10 months staying at Ravensworth Care Home. His funeral has been arranged for 1.30pm on Wednesday 9th March 2022 at Chesterfield Crematorium, Chesterfield Road, Brimington S43 1AU. For those unable to attend the funeral is being webcast. Gail is the wife of ex Chief Inspector David Ashley and mother to Nicola and Sarah.
