It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death on the 24th March 2021 of ex Sgt Marion Enid SPIBY, 83 years. Her next of kin is her friend Mrs Rose Spiby (no relation) where Marion lived.
Marion was not a member of NARPO so I do not have details of her service. I believe she retired on ill health whilst working at Alfreton in about 1983. She served at New Mills, Ilkeston and Alfreton. On retiring she worked for the Citizens Advice Bureau, Derby where she was Asst. Manager, working there until a week before her passing. Her funeral has been arranged for 10.00am on Monday 19th April 2021 at Derby Crematorium, Markeaton Lane, Derby. Covid restrictions apply. Sean Murphy (Secretary)
