It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death on the 29th March 2021 of ex PC 100 Andrew George WEDD, 91 years. His next of kin is his daughter Ms Joanne Wedd.

Andrew joined the Derby Boro’ Police in about 1955 having completed his National Service. He retired in about 1978 having served in Derby throughout his service.

His funeral has been arranged for 1.00pm on Monday 26th April 2021 at Derby Crematorium, Markeaton Lane, Derby. Covid restrictions apply

Andy took me out on a couple of tours when I was on my cadet beat attachment in 1974. Remember him being a really nice guy and kind to me. RIP
