It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death at home on the 4th October 2022 of Mrs Marion ASHMORE. Marion was for many years the cook at Buxton Police Canteen, she was loved by all and she would cook chips for breakfast, which endeared her more. Apparently driving courses from other Forces would end up at Buxton Police Station. Her husband Derek, who pre deceased her was the Driver Handyman. I have no details of the next of kin.
Her funeral has been arranged for 12.15pm on Thursday 3rd November 2022 at Macclesfield Crematorium. Donations to Derbyshire Air Ambulance. Enquiries to Mellor and Smith Funeral Home, 3, Fairfield Road, Buxton Tel 01298 77703. Sean Murphy (Secretary)
