50th Anniversary of the Murder of Supt Gerald Richardson ​He was murdered on 23rd August 1971 whilst responding to an armed robbery in Blackpool. To mark the anniversary John Pickard, Secretary of Blackpool & District NARPO Branch, prepared this article.
