It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the death of retired Inspector 1050 Philip SMITH. Philip died suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday 15th December 2023. He leaves his wife, Maxine, daughter Joanne and son, Mark, who is a serving officer. There will be a private family funeral.
A celebration of Phil’s life will take place at the Proact Stadium in Chesterfield for those that knew him well from 5pm on 19th January. For catering purposes anyone who knew Phil and who wishes to attend the celebration of his life is asked to inform Dave Ashley either by text on 07738 552178 or by email at [email protected] as early as possible please. It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the unexpected death in hospital on the 3rd December 2023 of Mr Adrian Wilfred aka Wilf CLARKE, 47 years, husband of ex PC 2520 Victoria aka Vicki Clarke. Vicki retired on ill health on the 3rd February 2017. They have two children Luke 24 and Lucy 19.
Wilf’s funeral has been arranged for 12.30pm on Thursday 21st December 2023 at Trent Valley Crematorium, Derby Road, Aston on Trent, Derby DE72 2 AF. Sean Murphy (Secretary) It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death on the 3rd December 2023, peacefully in her Care Home, of Mrs Doris ‘Dot’ UNWIN, 86 years, widow of ex PC Roy Unwin. Her next of kin is her daughter Mrs Karen Holmes.
Dot’s funeral has already taken place on the 12th December 2023 at Chesterfield Crematorium, Brimington, Chesterfield. Her funeral has been arranged for 11.30am on Friday 22nd December 2023 at The Rowan Chapel, Stockport Crematorium, Buston Road, Stockport SK2 6LS and afterwards at Glossop Golf Club, Sheffield Road, Glossop SK13 7PU.
