It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death on Tuesday 27th December 2022 of ex PC 207 Roy HARBOUR, 96 years, of Leominster. His next of kin is his wife, Mrs Joan Elizabeth Harbour.
Roy joined the Royal Navy at the age of 15 years to fight for king and country 'for hostilities only' in 1942 and served in the Pacific Wars and left the Navy in 1947 when he joined Derbyshire Constabulary, serving mainly at Rosliston. He was on duty in London for the Coronation of HRH Queen Elizabeth II who was the same age as Roy. He retired in 1977. His funeral has already taken place. Sean Murphy (Secretary)
