It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death on Saturday 9th October 2021, after a long illness, of ex PC 1347 Robert John MOORE, 76 years.  His next of kin is his wife, Mrs Judy Moore.

Robert served in the Army for over 10 years, before joining Derbyshire Police in about 1976.  He served in Glossop until he retired on ill health in 1990.

His funeral has been arranged for 12.00noon on Tuesday 26th October 2021 at Dukinfield Crematorium, Hall Green Road, Dukinfield SK16 4EP followed by a Commemorative Service at 1.15pm at St. James Church, Hollin Cross Lane, Whitfield, Glossop, SK13 8JQ. And afterwards at Windy Harbour Farm, Hotel,  Woodhead Road, Glossop SK13 7QE.

All invited, no need to wear black and any donations to the British Lung Association.
