My wife, Karen, and I knew Pete when many years ago we all worked on that other planet known as Ilkeston. Very sad to hear of his passing. Deepest sympathy to his family.

I knew Pete throughout my 30 years service, we started on the same shift at Ilkeston. A true gentleman, he couldn't do enough to help anyone in their hour of need.
