So sorry to hear that Pete's passed away. He and Kath were my next door neighbours when we were both serving at Renishaw PS & they were a lovely family.

I served with Peter at Renishaw and he was easy to like and extremely interesting to talk to. One night a foot patrol across the fields from Renishaw to Spinkhill and then to Killamarsh proved to be a stargazing lesson as Peter showed me all the constellations in the night sky. Made a lovely change from all the grim policing during the Miner's Strike. He has gone too soon, may he rest in peace. He is remembered with warmth. May his family take comfort from a life well lived.
