I am so sorry to hear of Dons death. I met him whilst researching my family history. My Grandad was a Batterham and we discovered that we had an ancestor in common. I met him and his wife Lyn and they were both very hospitable and welcoming. I kept in touch for a while but due to illness and family problems I lost contact. Today I was talking with my cousin and I mentioned Don to her. Later I googled certain Batterham family members including Don and this is how I found out he had died. I am shocked and saddened and wish that we had kept in touch.
