I served at the old New Beetwell Street Police Station from April 1967 and Alan as I new him was very good to me as a young police officer. I found out early in my Police career that I was dyslexic and struggled with my reports etc. He was very kind and
when he was section Sergeant he would find the time to help me as and when he was on duty. I left the police in 1972 to form my own business./ company. I am so sorry to read of his passing
