I'm sorry to inform you of the death of Mr. John Hool 93yrs, formerly caretaker at Ilkeston Police Station. He will be remembered by many who worked there during the late 1980s.
His funeral will be at Serenity Chapel, Bramcote Crematorium, at 11.00am on Tuesday 4th April 2023. Enquiries to Gillotts Funeral Directors, Abbott Street, Heanor. Sean Murphy (Secretary)

Fond memories of working with John at Wharncliffe Road, specially during the major rebuild trying to drag it into compliance with PACE requirements; why did nobody foresee the removal of the enquiry office floor? Happy times with a true gentleman. Much sympathy to John's daughter, Joanne.
