It is with deep sadness that I have to inform you of the death, after a 15 month illness, on 7th February 2023 of John FIELD, collar number 1116. His next of kin is his wife Kate.
He joined the Derbyshire Constabulary in (approx.) 1973 and retired in 2003. His funeral took place at 11.00 am on Tuesday 28th February 2023. Dave Ashley (Chair)

I was saddened to hear of John‘s passing. I first met him in 1980 when I spent a very (hic) challenging time on section 3 Chesterfield on my CID attachment. Our paths continuously crossed throughout our careers and he was always friendly, chatty and we always laughed about some fun times we‘d shared at work. Condolences (belated) to his family and friends.
