It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death on the 20th August 2021, of ex Commandant of the Derbyshire Special Constabulary, Mr Eric William ALLEN, 88 years. Unfortunately I do not have full details of his service with the Specials, but he was Commandant for 10 years retiring in 1993 from that post. His next of kin is his daughter Mrs Hazel Williams. Eric was an active and long standing member of the International Police Association (IPA) Derbyshire Branch.
His funeral has been arranged for 2.00pm on Friday 24th September 2021 at the Amber Valley Memorial Park and Crematorium, Derby Road, Swanwick DE55 1BH. Sean Murphy (Secretary)
