It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death on Saturday 15th April 2023, after a short illness in Hospital of ex PC 315 Donald ‘Don’ WESSON, 95 years. His next of kin is his daughter Mrs Val Langley.
Don joined the Police in 1956 and served in Long Eaton, Belper, Swadlincote and Road Traffic. He was then Road Safety Officer until his retirement in 1983. His funeral has been arranged for 12.45pm on Thursday 11th May 2023 at Bretby Crematorium, Geary Lane, Bretby, Burton on Trent DE15 0QE. Sean Murphy (Secretary)
