Dear Phil Christopher and Sally
Sorry to hear of your sad loss. I remember all those mad parties at your Derby homes. Cynthia was a super lady and always up for fun. She was a little easy to wind up though. Do you remember all those good times we had patrolling Derby City Centre.
Pal my thoughts are with you all at this very sad time.

So sad to hear of Cynthia's passing. Worked with Phil at Chad and Derby custody and met Cynthia several times. A lovely lady. Condolences to Phil and the family.

Very sad news. We have great memories of Cynth and Phil from meeting them in the mid/late 70's and working and socialising in Derby. She was a lovely person. So kind, caring and great fun to be with. Best wishes to Phil and the family Sherral and Gordy

So sorry to hear of your loss Phil. As a youth I recall seeing you both in your courting days, walking passed my home on Bramfield Avenue, close to where you subsequently bought your first? home together. Several years later, having joined the police myself and then married, Jane and I moved into our first home nearby, next door to Cynthia's mother! Consequently I occasionally saw Cynthia, and Christopher and Sally on their visits to see Mum/Grandma. Cynthia was a lovely person, and my thoughts are with you all. Tony Kelly

Hello, Phil, Christopher and Sally,

Karen and I are so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember fondly calling in for cups of tea with Cynth and her stories of being ditzy such as thinking she had an incorrect set of taps, with one being blue and the other red.
She had a heart of gold and was great fun.
My thoughts are with you all.
