It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death on the 9th December 2020 of ex PC Alan Burton, 72 years, from Cancer. His next of kin is his wife, Mrs Barbara Mary Burton. Alan retired in 1997 have served in Alfreton and Ripley.
His funeral, which will be a private family service, will take place on the 29th December 2020 at Amber Valley Crematorium. Sean Murphy (Secretary)

Top bloke, came to Moseley Street ‘nick’ as a probationer just after I joined. Always laughing, joking and always had a tale to tell. RIP Alan
