It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the peaceful death on Saturday 27th June 2026 of retired PC 836 Peter WILLIS, 84 yrs. His next of kin is his daughter, Melanie Bennett. He also leaves another daughter Tracey.
It is believed that Peter joined the Derbyshire Constabulary in the 1970's. He was initially stationed in Darley Dale but later moved to Glossop where he served in the Road Traffic Department. Peter retired in 1988 on an ill-health pension following an accident at work. Prior to joining the Police he served in the Royal Military Police. His funeral took place on 15th July 2026 at Dukenfield Crematorium and was by direct cremation as per his wishes. Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time. Ian Louch (Chair Derbys NARPO)
