It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death in a Nursing Home on the 28th May 2024 of ex Insp Michael Milner GILL, 87 years. His next of kin is his wife, Mrs Ruth Gill. All communication should be to her nephew, Mr. David Thurgood.
Michael joined the Derby Borough Police in 1958 rising to Inspector. He retired in 1990. His funeral has been arranged for 12.15pm on Monday 29th July 2024 at St. John the Evangelist, Mill Street, Derby DE1 3HZ. Followed by a close family committal at Markeaton Crematorium.. Sean Murphy (Secretary)

Fond memories of serving with Mick Gill when he was my inspector at Pear Tree when I first joined the force.
