It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the sudden and unexpected death at home on the 9th April 2025 of Mrs Mavis Ann WILSON, 87 years, wife of ex PC 738 Peter Wilson.
Many will remember Mavis as a Traffic Warden at Derby from 1972 to 1977, where she met and married Peter in 1977. Mavis was a member of three choirs prior to her passing. Her funeral has been arranged for 12.00 noon on Tuesday 20th May 2025 at Amber Valley Memorial Park and Crematorium, Derby Road, Swanwick DE55 1BH and afterwards at the Dog Inn, Pentrich.
