It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death on the 26th April 2025 of ex Chief Inspector Ivor Harry Roger COLPUS, 87 years. His next of kin is his daughter Mrs Sally Greasley. Ivor’s wife Anne predeceased him 3 years ago. Ivor passed away peacefully in a Nursing Home after a short battle with cancer with family members present.
Ivor transferred to Derbyshire in 1969, having served in the Metropolitan and Dorset Police. He served mainly in Derby and Headquarters within the Force Training School. He also served as an Instructor at Dishforth Training School. He retired in 1988. Ivor’s funeral has been arranged for 10.30am on Wednesday 21st May 2025 at Markeaton Crematorium (Round Chapel), Derby. Sean Murphy (Secretary)
