It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death of retired Sgt 448 Edmund (Ted) HARRISON, 90 years. Following the death of his wife Margaret Ted moved to the Wood Grange Nursing Home, Bourne, Lincs where he died peacefully on Friday 3rd January 2025. His next of kin are his 2 daughters.
Ted joined the Derbyshire Police in 1957 following his National Service. He served mainly in Chesterfield Division and retired after 25 years service as a Station Sergeant at Chesterfield in 1982. His funeral has been arranged for 1.30pm on Tuesday 4th Feb 2025 at St Michael's Parish Church. Brimington, Chesterfield. Followed at 2.30pm by a committal at Chesterfield Crematorium. RIP Edmund but always Ted. Good Bobby old school. Many happy years at The Mol. COYW. 448 from 21 and 159.🐺
