![]() It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death on Monday 24th March 2025 in a Hospice, of ex DC 519 Paul ‘Pooley’ Anthony Williams, 74 years. His next of kin is his partner of many years, Coral Cocksworth. Paul served as a Detective in Derby, Long Eaton, Alfreton, Ilkeston and Regional Crime Squad. He retired in about 2002 when he worked with the late Bill Dugard eventually taking over when Bill passed, and then by himself and Derby University. Pooley as he was affectionally known, at his request, is having a Direct Cremation, so there will be no funeral. Sean Murphy (Secretary)

It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death on Tuesday 18th March 2025 in Hospital, following pneumonia as a result of living with Dementia, of ex Sgt 365 Anthony ‘Tony’ Frank Cooper, 83 years. His next of kin is his wife, Mrs Margaret Cooper. Any correspondence care of her son, Mr John Cooper.
Tony as he was known served at Buxton, Chesterfield and Derby both at Full Street and Cotton Lane Police Stations, where he was promoted Sergeant. He retired on ill health just prior to 1990. At his request there will be no funeral just a Direct Cremation. Sean Murphy (Secretary) |
