It is with sadness that I have to inform your of the death, following a stroke, on the 16th July 2024 of ex PC 257 Anthony 'Tony' Walter WOOLLETT, 86 years. His next of kin is his wife, Mrs Anne Woollett.
Tony, as he was known, retired in 1987 having served in Ilkeston, Belper and as the Road Safety Officer for A division based at Alfreton. Tony's hobby was as a Magician known as 'YNOT', which he used to promote Road Safety and also presented shows for charity throughout the County for many years. His funeral has been arranged for 2.00pm on Tuesday 20th August 2024 at St. Martin's Church, Church Street, Alfreton DE55 7AH; followed by cremation at 3.00pm at Amber Valley Memorial Park and Crematorium, Derby Road, Swanwick DE55 1BH.
